The financial support we receive enables ATD Fourth World to continue its vital work with adults and children living in poverty in Britain today. There are many different ways in which you can help.

As costs spiral in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic and consequent economic squeeze, please consider regular giving by standing order to bolster our action.

Here are a few ways your gift makes an impact

  • £8 covers one person’s travel costs for an outing to a park or cultural institution or to speak out at an advocacy event.

  • £36 covers the cost of two hours for one of our core team to organise a well-being event or a policy forum. As an act of solidarity, this team of highly skilled and qualified professionals all agree to work for only the London living wage of £14.80 an hour, which comes to £18 with overhead costs.

  • £170 purchases groceries for home-cooked meals prepared and enjoyed together in an atmosphere of warmth and friendship.

  • £340 supports the technical and staffing costs to prepare every aspect of our activities, including many home visits.

  • £600 helps keep our lights on, and our staff and houses cared for.
